a wonderful "comparison" of introvert and extrovert thinking. on some christian site, but the page really has nothing to do with religion.

does criminal profiling help forensic units solve crimes faster or does it create tunnel vision when units are not necessarily open to more options of suspects? an interesting article.

wow. an incredible full scale psychology experiment on how regular people act when divided into prison guards and prisoners. way more intense than i would have though it would be. interesting stuff for a psych major like me, anyway. last night on veronica mars there was a simliar theme where college students were divided into prisoners and guards. the prisoners were given an address of a "bomb" and the guards had to use any means to extract it from them. if the prisoners kept it a secret for 48 hours, they didn't have to write a 10 page paper. if the guards got the address out of one of them, they were exempt. i wont give away who won or how, but it was somewhat similar.

From the page: "hey wonder, some of them for the rest of their lives, whether they are OK. They are quite OK, just different from the rest of their family-swans reared in a family of ducks." again, i cried. but i guess thats kinda the point.
